Tracking kept to a minimum

We try to avoid tracking wherever we can. We do not use advertising cookies, build advertising profiles, or track you across other websites. The only optional analytics tool we use is Google Analytics, which gives us a simple picture of how the site is being used and where we could improve it.

Google Analytics stays completely off unless you click Accept on the cookie bar. Choosing No thanks does not affect any website features.

Your choice is remembered for six months. You can change it or withdraw consent at any time using the button below and choosing No thanks.

Optional Google Analytics

If you accept, Google Analytics tells us things like which pages are visited, how people reached the site, broad device and browser information, and how the site performs. We use these overall patterns only to understand and improve the website—not for advertising or personalised content.

Our website configuration disables Google Signals and advertising-personalisation signals. Google Analytics may set the first-party cookies _ga and _ga_<container-id>. We configure those cookies to expire after no more than six months without extending their lifetime on later page views.

Essential browser storage

The site uses two pieces of local browser storage that do not send analytics data:

• theme remembers whether you selected the light or dark appearance.
• beaktech.analytics-consent remembers your analytics choice for six months.

Remembering your choice prevents us from repeatedly asking the same question.
